From the summit of Jebel Samhan, clouds can be seen. Also, when the weather is clear, the town of Mirbat and the Arabian Sea can be viewed from above.
  • Taq Cave and Tawi Atair Crater: The Tawi Atair crater is one of the deepest craters in Oman, with a depth of 210 meters. This crater has formed over time and is locally known as the Bird Well, where birds from all over the world come to nest.
  • Taqah: The town of Taqah is considered one of the best places to see the sunset, overlooking the sea. Tourists come to this town before sunset to witness the sunset from there.
  • Wadi Darbat: Wadi Darbat is considered the most distinctive tourist destination year-round. Here you can take boat rides and enjoy seeing animals such as camels, cows, and goats; it's a peaceful and beautiful place for photography.
  • Taqah Castle: Taqah Castle is a magnificent historical landmark located in the coastal town of Taqah, near Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate of Oman. It is a popular tourist destination that offers a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage and traditional Omani life in the region. Built in the 19th century: Unlike many ancient Omani castles, Taqah Castle is relatively modern, having been constructed in the 19th century during the reign of Sultan Taimur bin Faisal Al Said (1913-1932). It was originally a private residence for Sheikh Ali bin Taiman Al Mashani, the grandfather of Sultan Qaboos's mother. Later, it became government property and served as an administrative center and residence for local governors. The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has conducted extensive restoration efforts, and the castle was reopened as a museum in 1994, preserving its original design and showcasing Omani history. The castle is made of white stone, giving it a unique and attractive appearance. Taqah Castle serves
