The "first time" for anything remains deeply engraved in memory, but the "first trip" has a completely different flavor. It is not merely a journey from one place to another; rather, it is a story we begin writing long before setting foot in the airport.
The story began the moment I decided to turn the idea of traveling into reality. I went to issue my passport for the very first time. My pen trembled as it approached the documents, and with every signature, I felt I was opening a new door for myself. When I received that small navy blue passport book and read my name printed next to nationality and travel details, it was not just official paperwork—it was my gateway to the world.
After getting the passport came the visa stage. The waiting period was a mix of passion and anticipation—checking updates daily, hoping for an approval. When the visa was issued and stamped on one of the pages, I felt the biggest step had been accomplished and that the dream was finally within reach.
With the visa secured, actual preparations began:
Every detail we planned increased our excitement. The suitcase was not packed with clothes alone; it was filled with expectations and passion to embrace the unknown.
We arrived at the airport, where everything felt brand new: departure halls, baggage drop, and document checks. But the highlight was stepping onto the aircraft—it was the very first time in my life riding an airplane! I felt a slight moment of awe as the plane took off, but as we ascended and the familiar ground faded beneath the clouds, fear turned into absolute wonder. I realized the world is far vaster than we imagine.
Upon landing, we headed to the hotel for a brief rest before setting off toward the main objective of the trip: attending the Travel & Tourism Expo(ATM).
The expo was an enriching and joyful experience—a miniature galaxy bringing together diverse cultures and languages. I met new partners and colleagues from around the globe, exchanging ideas, experiences, and smiles. In the evenings, the city streets welcomed our exploration tours among lively avenues and iconic landmarks, beautifully blending work achievements with the delight of discovering new horizons.

On the way back, the suitcase did not just hold personal belongings; it was packed with special keepsakes:
Finally, it was time to return. Boarding the plane once more, my bags held unforgettable memories, a new professional network, and thoughtful gifts. As my feet touched home soil, I realized that the journey starting with a passport application was not just words on paper—it was the beginning of a brand new chapter in my life.
